If you have an AI Boon with Shell counters on it (cf. The Shell Traders), you can pay the bits to remove the counters and install it in the middle of a run, whenever special effects may be used by the Runner. If you do this, AI Boon is considered to have a default strength of zero - you only roll for its strength at the start of each run. |
