The trashing effect of Puzzle is triggered because Runner has encountered the ice. So even if Puzzle is derezzed at the end of run, it 'remember' the fact that it must be trashed, and so ends ist days in the Archives. Simply derezzing a piece of ice doesn't wipe out any effects that would apply to it, even if they're internal effects like imploding at end of turn. |
